সহসাই কলহাস্যে খুলে যাচ্ছে সদর দরোজা
অযথাই ডেকে উঠছে পাখি চরাচর জুড়ে
জ্বর বাড়ছে ঘোর বাড়ছে জ্বরে
আর ক্রমশই পুড়ে যাচ্ছে গাঢ় অভিমানে
সোহাগের মানে।
ভেঙে পড়ছে বুকের দু'পাশে বিষাদের ডালপালা
আমি শালা একা পুড়ে যাচ্ছি প্রেমে
থেমে থেমে কূজনেই মেতে উঠছে পাখি
দুলে উঠছে বুকের গভীরে থাকা সাঁকো
ক্রমশই জ্বর বাড়ছে ঘোর বাড়ছে দেখো।
